MSC Cruises has returned to Chantiers de l’Atlantique to order two more LNG-powered cruiseships in a deal worth more than €2bn ($2.2bn).
The contract was unveiled by the companies on Monday in the presence of French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe at his official residence in Paris.
The two ships — the third and fourth in the series — are scheduled to be delivered in 2025 and 2027, the shipbuilder said.
