The coronavirus pandemic has stopped The World – or at least brought a halt to 18 years of round-the-world cruising by the vessel its owners describe as a private residential yacht.
The 43,200-gt The World (built 2002) which has 165 residential apartments has been taken out of service due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic — curtailing its 2020 schedule in Western Australia.
