Grimaldi Group is to fit scrubbers to more than half of its 120-strong fleet to comply with looming IMO emissions rules, according to managing director Emanuele Grimaldi.
The Italian owner of ro-ros, ropaxes and pure car carriers is to install scrubbers on more than 60 vessels in a targeted approach to fit its youngest and largest ships with the exhaust-gas cleaning systems.
