DFDS profit chopped by Brexit 'uncertainty' and volume slump

DFDS has blamed Brexit for taking a 16% chunk out of its profit for 2019, even though it saw an uptick in revenue during the year.

The cut is not unexpected. In August last year, the Copenhagen-based ro-ro group warned that it had cut its full-year outlook due to reductions in trade volumes caused by the UK's exit from the European Union.
