UK shipbuilder Wight Shipyard has clinched an order for four fast ferries from Malta's Captain Morgan.
The yard said the ships are two 20-metre and two 33-metre catamarans, without giving a price.
They are being designed by One2Three Naval Architects and will be delivered in May 2020.
Peter Morton, CEO of Wight Shipyard, said: "We have been working with One2Three to develop lighter, more fuel-efficient ferries with the subsequent reduction of fuel costs.
