Canadian accommodation vessel provider Bridgemans Services Group has revealed that it has acquired a large cruise ferry from Estonian ferry operator Tallink that will be converted in Estonia for use as an accommodation ship.
The 35,200-gt ropax Isabelle (built 1989) has been taken on a long-term bareboat charter in a deal with a purchase option.
Technical management of the Isabelle has been assigned to Tschudi Ship Management, which said the ship has been moved to Paljassaare for conversion into its new role by Estonian marine and offshore refit and engineering specialist company SRC Group.
