Spain's Balearia has ordered what it says is the world's first gas-powered fast ferry.
The passenger, car and cargo vessel will be built at a cost of EUR 90m ($102m) at the domestic Armon yard for delivery in June 2020.
The 15,000-gt catamaran will carry 1,200 passengers and 500 vehicles.
The company said this will be "the longest and highest-capacity fast ferry catamaran currently in existence."
