Carnival Corp is believed to have sold the last of the Fantasy-class cruiseships that were earmarked for scrap.
The 70,400-gt Carnival Imagination (built 1995) is docked in Willemstad in the Dutch Antilles, where industry sources said it is being prepared for its final voyage to the Turkish shiprecycling centre of Aliaga.
The vessel has reportedly filed a voyage plan for the Turkish port, and all references to its existence have been removed from the Carnival Cruise Line website.
