Singapore-listed Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has secured orders for six more newbuildings that take its total number of contracts this year to 118 units worth $7.21bn.
The Jiangsu-based shipyard said the latest bookings involved five dual-fuelled containerships and one 82,000-dwt bulker.
Yangzijiang said the five 7,000-teu boxship newbuildings were ordered by Seaspan Corp and an unnamed Japanese owner booked the kamsarmax bulker.
