Yang Ming has signed on the dotted line for the charter of 10 new boxships from Costamare and Shoei Kisen.
The deals were confirmed by Yang Ming president Vincent Lin, Shoei Kisen Kaisha president Yukito Higaki and Costamare CEO Costis Constantakopoulos at ceremonies on Wednesday.
Shoei is providing five 11,000-teu newbuildings and Costamare five of 12,000 teu to the Taiwanese operator.
