Taiwanese carrier Wan Hai Lines is spending around $85.5m to acquire two more modern eco-feeder container vessels.
The Taipei-listed operator has emerged as the en-bloc buyer of the 1,762-teu Bremen Trader and 1,774-teu A Fuji (both built 2021), according to UK-based shipbrokers.
The two vessels add to Wan Hai's impressive tally of secondhand acquisitions in the past year, during which time the company has acquired at least a dozen vessels.
