Port workers in the UK’s largest container port are planning strike action in a move which could further disrupt liner schedules.
Workers in the Port of Felixstowe have threatened to walk out next month after last-minute talks to avert strike action failed.
Some 92% of votes cast backed industrial action on an 80% turnout, the Unite trade union said.
