Germany’s United Heavy Lift (UHL) has teamed up with newly formed US multipurpose (MPP) operator Intermarine in a new commercial venture.
The move is designed to help market UHL’s growing fleet of MPP and heavylift tonnage and will reunite several old hands in the project cargo sector.
It comes two months after Intermarine was reformed in February using MPP vessels of 6,000 to 10,000-dwt which were formerly in the fleet of insolvent German operator Zeamarine.
