A second wave of the coronavirus pandemic is poised to increase difficulties in the container shipping business, says Ocean Network Express chief executive Jeremy Nixon.
But other participants in a Wednesday event also said they see positive trends for shipping in trade patterns emerging from the lockdown, if the industry can lock them in.
Nixon said the turnaround for the container trades over a “rollercoaster” of a year has been unbelievable.
