Sea Consortium, which controls feeder operator X-Press Feeders, continues its energetic buying spree with the acquisition of its largest vessel to date.
The Singapore company is understood to have bought the 6,661-teu NYK Terra (built 2008) for a firm price of around $25m.
That is higher than the prices fetched by the 6,541-teu Puelo (built 2006) and 6,494-teu Hamburg (built 2009), which were sold by Diana Containerships in May for a little over $20m each.
