Indonesia’s Samudera Shipping has freshened up its container ship fleet with a newbuilding order.
The Singapore-listed company said on Friday that it had signed a deal with an unnamed shipbuilder at the end of December for two 1,900-teu feedermaxes for a combined $66m.
Delivery is expected in the fourth quarter of 2024 and early 2025.
