Regional Container Lines (RCL) has lifted its order for neo-panamax container ships at China’s Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS).
The Bangkok-listed liner company has ordered two 7,000-teu conventionally fuelled newbuildings at the state-owned shipyard, bringing its tally to four. The earlier vessels were signed in March.
RCL and SWS confirmed the order but did not disclose further details.
