Matson is expecting to post a dip in income when it reports quarterly earnings next month as the container ship sector moves past its Covid-19 pandemic-fuelled highs.
The Hawaii-based, US-flag shipowner and liner operator said on Monday that operating income from its ocean transportation segment will come in between $310m and $315m, a dip from the $362m posted for the third quarter of 2021.
