MPC Container Ships (MPCC) will renew charters on around two-thirds of its fleet in the coming weeks.
The Hamburg-managed company expects to renew or enter into new charter contracts for 40 of its fleet of 65 feeder containerships by April.
That will significantly improve its position from 2021 onwards, said chief executive Constantin Baack.
