MPC Container Ships has added another boxship to its fast expanding fleet.
The Oslo-listed newcomer has reportedly acquired the Aker-built, 2,127-teu containership Conti Elektra (built 2007) for around $6.3m.
It would be the fourteenth vessel acquired by MPC in under two months.
In April, MPC raised around $100m via a private placement in Norway, where it is listed on the Merkur Market.
