AP Moller-Maersk CEO Soren Skou has criticised European Union competition rules as too strict.
He believes the regulations are hindering European companies as they try to compete with Chinese rivals.
Skou told the Jyllands-Posten daily that he doubted the wisdom of the EU's decision last year to block a tie-up between engineering giants Siemens and Alstom.
