Denmark's AP Moller-Maersk is reportedly examining a potential $1bn sale of its refrigerated container business.
Sources familiar with the matter told news agency Bloomberg that the giant container liner operator is working with an advisor on a divestment of Maersk Container Industry (MCI), although it could yet keep the division.
Demand for MCI's reefer boxes has soared during the Covid-19 pandemic as trade flows and container movements have been disrupted.
