AP Moller-Maersk expects to earn an astonishing $48bn in earnings over two years as the container profit bonanza rolls-on.
The Copenhagen-listed company has also wasted no time in spending the bonanza by revealing plans to acquire US logistics firm Pilot Freight Services (Pilot) for $1.68bn.
The liner giant today confirmed a “remarkable” tripling of earnings of $24bn in 2021 and revealed that it expects to earn the same amount this year.
