Taiwan’s Evergreen Marine Corp has asked shipowners and yards for offers on a slew of up to 26 feeder, scrubber-fitted boxships worth more than $1bn as newbuilding prices shoot up.
Shipbuilding sources said the liner company has circulated a time-charter tender for feeder ships of between 1,200 teu and 3,000 teu.
