Hamburg owner Ernst Russ has profited from booming boxship markets by refixing eight vessels on much better terms.
The German company said the economic environment had been "very positive" in the first six months.
The unnamed ships were booked at "very attractive rates", the owner added, lifting its charter average for fully owned units to $12,930 per day to 30 June.
