South Korea’s Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering has secured a ro-pax order from a domestic owner.
A shipyard official said South Korean ferry operator Panstar has signed up for a single newbuilding to be delivered in December 2024.
Dae Sun declined to disclose the value of the newbuilding contract but said the 170 metres long vessel is able to carry 399 passengers and load 250-teu containers.
