Chinese liner operator Transfar Shipping is targeting orders for a series of 8,000-teu newbuildings.
The company is looking to procure up to five modern neo-panamaxes, possibly with methanol dual-fuel propulsion, according to market sources.
The Singapore-incorporated company is believed to be looking at placing its own orders with a Chinese shipyard.
