Capital markets company BTIG is backing the move to LNG-fuelled containerships by setting a up a new leasing company for large boxships.
Speaking in London at the 35th Anniversary of the Costas Grammenos Centre for Shipping, Trade and Finance event, BTIG managing director Ole Slorer said his company is in the “very advanced stages” of creating a leasing company for containerships that will burn LNG.
