Mitsui & Co-backed tech firm Bearing AI is launching a new emissions tracking service after collaborating with container line Hapag-Lloyd.
The Silicon Valley start-up says its Fleet Deployment Optimizer will be the first artificial intelligence-powered tool for monitoring, predicting and optimising boxship carbon output.
The Palo Alto-based firm added that the German shipowner has provided in-depth feedback through the development process.
