Asmari Herry has been tasked with building up Samudera Indonesia Group’s domestic shipping business in Indonesia as part of a management reshuffle.
He will step down in September as chief executive of the group's Singapore-listed vehicle – Samudera Shipping Line — to take up the new role.
Industry veteran and long-time Samudera executive Banui Mulia will take over the CEO post at the Singapore subsidiary.
