AP Moller-Maersk is beefing up its logistics focus by merging APM Terminals Inland Services into Maersk Logistics & Services.
The Danish giant is transitioning away from being a conglomerate to becoming an integrated transport and logistics specialist.
The business combination will be effective from 1 August and will provide customers with "seamless access to a wider range of logistics and services offerings", Maersk said in a release on Thursday.
