A container ship owned by Evergreen Line has grounded off the US east coast city of Baltimore, Maryland.
The 12,010-teu Ever Forward (built 2020) became stuck in Chesapeake Bay near Craighill Channel on Sunday night, according to US Coast Guard (USCG) District 5, which patrols from New Jersey to South Carolina.
The incident comes a year after Evergreen’s 20,388-teu Ever Given (built 2018) was wedged in the Suez Canal last March, blocking the waterway for six days.
