Robert Uggla has been confirmed as chairman of AP Moller-Maersk, with a pledge to back the group’s management.
The grandson of legendary shipowner Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller was elected at a general assembly of the Danish shipping giant on Tuesday in a move that marks a generational change.
In a video message, the new chairman said he is “very excited and humbled” by his appointment.
