Yang Ming Marine Transport has approached yards for up to 10 container ship newbuildings.
The Taiwanese liner company has officially launched a request for offers to build a conventionally fuelled 8,000-teu trio and up to seven LNG dual-fuel 15,000-teu vessels.
It did not specify the delivery date, but shipyards are to submit their offers by 15 April.
