The Panama Canal is boosting the number of daily crossings once again as drought restrictions ease.
The waterway, celebrating eight years since its massive neo-panamax lock expansion, has also increased draught limits.
The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) said a new booking slot for the neo-panamax locks will be added from 5 August, bringing the total number of transits to 35 ships per day.
