The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has issued a statement aimed at debunking “myths” about shipping delays caused by a regional drought.
The waterway’s bosses said the country is now nearing the end of the dry season.
Based on the current and projected water level of Gatun Lake, additional ship slots were added in March, bringing total transits to 27 per day, ACP added.
