MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has snapped up a veteran boxship from Greek owner Global Ship Lease (GSL).
The Swiss liner giant is reportedly buying the 5,936-teu Tasman (built 2000) from the US-listed tonnage provider for more than $30m, according to brokers.
The vessel is one of three sister ships of this vintage in the fleet of Athens-based company.
