SFL Corp has agreed on new five-year time charters on four container ships with AP Moller-Maersk.
The deal marks the John Fredriksen-backed company’s second major transaction with Maersk in under a week.
SFL chief executive Ole Hjertaker said in a statement: “The new charters on four existing container vessels demonstrate the benefit of a customer-focused approach, where we, in close cooperation with Maersk, have analysed how to optimise the vessels’ operational performance and reduce emissions.”
