German liner shipping company Hapag-Lloyd saw group profits slide to $2.6bn in 2024.
The result was $600m below the previous year’s figure of $3.1bn, mainly due to lower interest income and higher tax expenses.
The Hamburg-based company expects group Ebitda to be about $2.5bn to $4bn for the current financial year, down from $5bn in 2024.
