French start-up Windcoop has ordered what it calls the world’s first sailing container ship.
The 91-metre vessel, with a capacity of 210 teu, has been contracted at Turkey’s RMK Marine yard for €28.5m ($31.4m).
It will be equipped with three 350-square-metre rigid wings designed by CWS.
