Scrubber use on container ships continues to grow despite fresh calls for a ban on the devices in European waters.
The total number of scrubber-fitted ships rose to a high of 1,385 vessels this month, equivalent to 12.6m teu, says Alphaliner.
That represents an increase of 263 vessels, or 2.42m
