Last year’s container freight rates boom contributed to higher revenue for Spanish shipping logistics operator Perez y Cia.
The company pointed to an average 96% increase in freight rates during 2024, compared with 2023 levels.
Currently, container spot rates on the benchmark Freightos Baltic Index (FBX) are at $2,308 points, compared with 2024’s peak of $5,620 points.
