The CMA CGM Group is taking a 35% stake in Cairo-based October Dry Port (ODP).
The French liner group has also signed a management agreement to operate and develop the port.
The deal will strengthen the French carrier’s operations across Greater Cairo and Upper Egypt, as well as in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, the company said.
