The US Coast Guard is searching for a man who, among other things, threatened to shoot down the agency's aircraft while claiming to be from the Russian government.
According to a report from the Tampa Bay Times, the threats were made by a man and over radio channel 22A, the maritime safety channel.
“The next time I see one of your planes in the air, I will shoot that plane down and kill the pilot and the passengers,” in a 13 August transmission.
