All 12 people have been evacuated from a tanker that partially sunk after hitting rocks off Malaysia.

The Malay Mail cited the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) as saying the 5,000-dwt Sea Frontier (built 1989) was about 75% beneath the sea on Wednesday night near Tanjung Penyusop here last night.

Johor MMEA deputy director for operations Sanifah Yusof said checks revealed that the vessel had hit rocks while attempting to dock, causing hull damage and subsequent water ingress.
