A coronavirus outbreak on board a bunker tanker in Singapore has led to nine identified cases among its crew.
The Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) revealed on Wednesday that eight Indonesians and a Singaporean had tested positive for Covid-19 on board the 4,700-dwt NewOcean 6 (built 2014), a vessel owned by NewOcean Oil Singapore.
An Indonesian crew member first tested positive on 30 December, the MPA said.
