Monday looks set to be a key day in the salvage efforts for the Shoei Kisen containership blocking the Suez Canal.
The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has decided to postpone the next refloating attempt of the 20,388-teu Ever Given (built 2018) until sufficient tug power is in place, Leth Agencies said on social media.
ALP Maritime's 24,500-bhp tug ALP Guard (built 2009) has already arrived on scene to boost the available firepower for salvors.
