Indonesian authorities are reported to have located the wreck of the bulker Nur Allya that went missing in late August.
The 52,400-dwt bulker (built 2002) is said to have been found in the Halmahera Sea north of Buru Island, Maluku, according to Indonesian media.
It was found using a magnetometer, a device that measures magnetism — the direction, strength, or relative change of a magnetic field at a particular location.
