A weight miscalculation led to the death of a Keppel Shipyard worker when a boxship rudder fell on him.
Mandeep Kumar, 36, was killed while repairing Songa Container's 2,564-teu City of Shanghai (built 2009) at the Singapore yard in March 2020.
The Straits Times reported that a coroner's inquiry found the 59-tonne rudder dropped after its shackle fractured.
