A Diana Shipping seafarer has died after a fire off South Africa.
Vesseltracker reported that the 206,000-dwt Philadelphia (built 2012) was en route from Ponta da Madeira in Brazil to Singapore with an iron ore cargo when the incident occurred on 24 March.
The crewman was lost overboard and an 11-hour search failed to find him.
His colleagues extinguished the blaze themselves.
